    I was surprised to see my website show up on google when I searched my name which was also in the html. Actually go by my middle name now for that reason.

    Flash or HTML?

    Good question. My whole portfolio is mostly Flash intensive. I think people like html and it looks proffesional. Any companies site, professional or hip, can look good as html with the right graphics. But Flash can work but not usually for boreing companies. And mixing the two, I dont like.

    didnt read peoples responses. but my quick answer is a Degree is not important depending on what you want to do. If you want to freelance you need a portfolio. Universities are big into the theory of design but didnt even show us Flash or Dreamweaver.
