This usually means that you've forgot to close an element. Just check the page for an open paragraph tag or something, I don't think it should be any more difficult.

I've never done this, but isn't it just to create a folder a notch up from your /www directory? If you've got a domain you should be able to create unlimited sub-domains if you want. Don't know what kind of hosting setup you have though.

I do this the exact same way, just rewrite the vertical links on each page. All you need is to create the pages for the first set of links. Nothing fancy to it.
