    Well to be technical there are free trials, which provide Ps free for 30 days.

    One other cool feature about Ps are Droplets. The Droplet is an actual file that will open Ps then the select image(s), run a user-defined action set, save and rename the image file, then close the image file. It is all automated, just set it up once and your done. Drag and drop all the images you want to resize on the Droplet file and watch the magic happen. Great efficiency tool :)

    You should try this one as mostly says it's the best, but compare it as well, you might like the others. For your client's issue, teach her a bit of the basic, she will need it in the future if she wants to operate it by herself.
