I signed up for this forum to learn and help others in regards to web design elements and graphic design applications. After spending about an hour sifting through posts, I have come to the conclusion that as a majority most people are using these forums as an advertising venue. This is fine if it is the site's intent, but albeit a tad misleading. Is it possible to try to keep the advertisements to their own section so that the actual learning capability would improve?
Just a thought.
That being said, has the topic of portal websites come up recently? I am overwhelmed with the amount of crap template made catch all portal sites that are eating up all the good domain names like a virus. If you have one of these sites I would be curious as to the money you make tricking people who should have enough sense not to click your tainted links. I have seen many people fall victim to the schemes of these sites and I wish there was a way to CLEAN the existing WWW and start fresh. Portal sites should have to pay some sort of tax of enormous denominations in order to keep their misleading information floating in cyber space.
