Brilliant design. I really love how the phone, office, and address bullets are included in what looks to be a bolt/lug nut, very clever.
Likes:
- Good readability. That is the point isn't it?
- Contrast.
- Simple.
Dislikes:
- Font.
- I couldn't imagine the tagline ('your car is our passion') being easy to read once printed.
Thanks Brad, awesome feedback. Yeah I was going for a lug nut shape, seemed very appropriate. The font for the main text is Eras, is that one you dont care for? or the font in the tagline? About the tagline, I was concerned about the contrast between the red and black as well. I have a test print being done today. We will see
I guess the actual card will be smaller than the image I see on screen. So i just wondered how it will look scaled down to actual size especially the tag line and map, other than that, great design, but the "our passion" on the tag line could maybe be clearer
Thanks for the compliments. The map does look small, but I have made a similar one for another company and it does read quite well actually. I agree with you on the tagline, checking a printed version today
The right image looks better, it's clean, and the left is too full...
My suggestion:
1. The front side will be as the right image with the owner name on it.
2. The bottom red line also will be transferred to the front.
3. On the back side all the information will go more left and bottom.
4. The map will re-sized to bigger size (also righter and bottom).
5. Your slogan will go to top and centered.
See attached image...
Thanks for the feedback smoovo. The left was intended to have more info, and yes it does look a little full. Much of the info was requested by the owner (client). Nevertheless, I still think it has a decent flow. In your example I think there is break in the flow on the front of the card. the red overpowers everything? and it cuts in the wheel.
The right side...there is too much space between the information items (phone, email, address) , again creating a break in the flow. I do like the tagline centered though.
Thanks for taking the time to create a new mock up!
