    Why do you need a good web design?

    JS Menu breaking

    Leroy is right. It seems to only happen when I roll over the text, but not the <li>'s background. Maybe try just replacing that one particulae <li> with an image rather than text. That would be a cheap and nasty way to solve the problem. -Lou

    I second this. You should go check out the sites that are on: http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/ and see where the major mistakes are. A pretty good rule is, just because something can be done, doesn't mean you should do it. For example, I HATE any sort of music on a site. -Lou

    Those websites were made using a number of tools and/or languages. If you are completely new to web design, I would suggest learning HTML and CSS first. http://www.w3schools.com/ -Lou

    You just have to be aggressive with them. They all get their fake little web design facts from friends who've had websites made. For example, I had one client scold me(via e-mail) for using a font that wasn't a standard system font, and they swore up and down that it won't display on others'...
