You are correct. It will seem slow. Truth is you don't need to rush. You need to practice it, even if it seems silly. It will help you remember the tags and selectors and such. http://W3schools.com has some great tutorials for beginners. Good Luck, Benjamin

No. I am from Arkansas. I actually did get the images off of google and did a little editing to remove white space. I don't know how to create them myself in PS.

I already had the fixed width and had them centered. I had to adjust the line-height on the hovered one about 8px lower. It should be still now. Is there anything else you recommend I do or anything I could do to add some pizazz to the site? Thanks for everyones help. Glad to be a part of this...

I shrunk the header. Didn't like half size so i went from 150px to 100px. 75px seemed too small and cluttered. I increased the logo as well.

I am not great with photoshop yet. I don't know how to do it even with a plugin. Uggh.

Yes there would be a big difference in load time, depending on how many images. Also what if the images cannot load? Then you have have your site showing up and it looks like crap. Always better to be on the safe side.

Are they showing up? If not they may not be in your image folder. I had that problem before and had to redownload the package after it updated. I am starting to use Fancybox 2 now. It is about the exact same but it seems faster and less buggy.
