Is the gray difficult to read?

The gray text isn't too bad IMHO, but the light gray and the pink link colors are a bit light and hard to see against the pale background. Just my .02

Yeah, the text is a bit light and hard to read, also I would consider a different approach to the sticky tape, image, kind of looks like maybe a band-aid, and makes the site look non-symetrical.

The text is hard to see, especially when you have a bright background. Be careful with bright colors, they tend to hurt the eyes, and scare people away from your site.

i agree with ian, the sticky tape images aren't working to well for ya. i would also suggest using some warmer colors. why the pastels? i find the chosen colors make it look a bit tacky. romance isn't a topic that caters to just girls/women.

however, i do like the idea. it's not something you see very often and most certainly has lots of potential.

please don't take my words in the wrong way. merely trying to be honest.
