World countried DB ?

sorry for the topic typo "countries"
I'm designing a website that should be used to reserve air tickets.
I want to know a smart way to choose the countries I want to be available in the list instead of filling them manually into the DB.

I'm creating an ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX enabled website.

the only option i can think of other than creating the db manually, would be to find a pre-made db that you can purchase for a small fee. i have seen several such db's offered on other forums. google is your friend.

Is there any free good ones around ?
I just don't know where to look, may be someone did that before can help me out.
I prefer it to be MSSQL DB.
