wordpress questions..

i wonder how i in the best way make my page in wordpress. I want to use alot of "static" information and maby only one page where people can comment and i write new posts... so all my pages under one buttm " blogg" and then more other with static information.. give me some hints please i google alot and have watch lynda movies. Were is more good info?

Pick yourself up a copy of wordpress in depth by bud smith and michael McCallistar. It has alot of good information.
I also suggest you go with wordpress.org and building the site yourself. There is alot more flexibility using wp.org rather then wordpress.com.

This is extremely easy for Wordpress, it's what it was invented to do. The "dynamic page" would be your blog page, where you would make what wordpress defines as posts. The "static pages"(though technically this term is incorrect) would be what wordpress calls pages.

It's hard to give more advice than that unless you post some more specific problems you are having!
