i just joined web design class at
Computer Education in Nepal and was looking for some site to get online help as well ,,is there any useful site providing Web design and development tutorials ,notes , videos and guidelines....thanks

I have been using W3school.com, it doesnt have videos on it but it is a great site and has helped me a lot through school.

A lot of source you can found through internet. For more complete, you can try some web design forums.

I also recommend googling it or there are a lot of people on Youtube posting video tutorials.

When I first started out, I used Dreamweaver to get the basics. It is very handy for teaching you the basics of HTML & CSS because you can create elements and style them without actually writing the code. Once I got the basics, I then moved on to writing the code myself and Googleing (Stack Overflow is usually the best result) any questions/problems I had.
