WDF "Like" Feature - Your Thoughts

Included in the recent vBSEO forum update is a "like" feature, similar to what you've all seen at Facebook. What do you think? Have you tried it? Post your thoughts in this thread!

If you haven't noticed, the button is on the right hand side of each post. You will not see the button on posts you've written, however.

I've used it. I'm not sure it really adds anything to the experience.

If I had to guess, I'd say that it's vBulletin's attempt at supporting an official feature to give users' recognition for helpful posts (outside of the rep system, which is obviously disabled here at WDF). There are several hacks/mods that can be installed, such as the "thanks" feature you may have seen at other forums, but nothing official.

I'm guessing they chose "like" due to the fact that so many people are familiar with using it at facebook.

It feels like a caste system! If you don't have any likes received, you are in the bottom class. If you have many received likes, you are in the top class...
Just kidding. Sort of...
