The U.S. economy has maintained a stable overall GDP growth rate, a low unemployment rate, and high levels of research and capital investment funded by both national and, because of decreasing saving rates, increasingly by foreign investors. In 2008, seventy-two percent of the economic activity in the U.S. came from consumers.
According to many economists, US economy exited recession in the third quarter, posting the strongest growth in 2 years. Hopefully things will get better next year.
One thing is for sure. It's gently going down the slope. With all the recession thing going on. But I heard that they're slowly getting up from it but still there's still a problem with the economy and they're taking too long fixing it.
