Upload Blooper, Not Uploaded to Root Directory

Hi all. I just uploaded my website but the FTP program created a folder instead of uploading it to the root directory. I want it in the root directory obviously. How can I either move the folder to the root directory or set Core FTP up to upload to the root directory? Thanks very much for your help.

I've never used core FTP, but with Filezilla you just navigate to the folder and drag/drop.

Drag and drop as ronaldroe said.

If that doesn't work, re-upload into the root and delete the folder all together.
