Trying out a Dark Background design

It's been a while since I've been on here! I've picked up a few freelance projects in the last few weeks

I have a client that owns a DJ service, and I thought it would be appropriate to go with a darker theme to match the subject matter. Right now it seems a little harsh on the eyes, but I thought I would post it and get some feedback so far. Making a slideshow of some iStock photos for the banner - otherwise, how is it looking?

This design would probably look better with the text black and the background white, i.e. the other way around.

try more of a charcoal than black so it isn't such a massive contrast.

I actualy like the color but the contrast is a little eye hurting. Perhaps tone down the brightnes in the fonts a tad?

I like black so it's fine with me.. black and white looks good together, after all..

I like the site! The color black is good but I guess you can choose some other dark colors out there! It's good job though!
