swishmax or macromedia flash

I've only ever used macromedia flash but I love it. I definitely wouldn't switch to any other software, but I also have never tried swishmax so I can't definitively say that macromedia is better.

Use flash you will not be sorry.. Swish has a limited user group and a limited amount of cool tutorials.

Swish is a great tool, i rarely encounter a problem which can not be solved in Swish. Also i much prefer the interface of Swish to that in Adobe flash. When all you need is a quick text effect, slideshow, simple set of buttons or something along those lines i really recommend SwishMax2.

On the other hand, if you need to code some heavy applications using actionscript, im sure Flash is a better alternative since there is a much broader community out there for support.
