Submit a name, and have it show up in a table?

Hi guys

Im new to this forum and I was wondering if there was a way to have someone type in something, like their name, into an input box, and then have it show up in a table along with other people who have also done the same?

Like an online registration sheet?

What would I need to do for this, is their a wordpress plugin maybe? Or is it something I can code?

You should be able to do this very easily with php and mysql.

what database would you use? is it mysql?
