Spam Issues in This Forum

What's with the spam problems in this forum? I'm running the same version of vBulletin and I don't have any of the problems that these forums do.

The spam is about normal for a forum that has been around for a while.

Yeah, the spammers start rolling in after a while. We are working the issue, but time is a limiting factor.

It's weird, I don't really see this problem on places like devshed or webmaster-talk.com or anything.

Every place that has traffic is going to have spam. You can't stop it you can only control it.

I don't see it anywhere else, or on any of my forums.

The spam gets deleted every week without fail. Yes there is an issue with the timing of the deletion, but it does get deleted. Every spam post since 4may09 this year has been deleted, well at least 99% of it.
