self-editing for clients-CMS recommendations

I want to build a website in which my client can edit certain fields regularly i.e. calendar. Recommendations for CMS software and how they would work if I used Dreamweaver to build the site?

i suggest you to use wordpress or joomla that fits the requirement

thanks! I though wordpress was for blogging..didn't realize it was a cms as well..
