Repeating message

When my site opens, a voice says, "Welcome." The problem is that whenever a viewer goes to a linked page and then comes back to the main page, there's that voice again.

Any way I can have "Wecome" come on once, and only once per visit? It's annoying to hear it every time.

at the risk of being too blunt... my advice is to get rid of it entirely. It does nothing for your site, can be annoying to hear each and every time one visits the site, and takes up space that could otherwise be used for something else.

I know you are only trying to add something to your site, but I have to agree with Steph. Besides, I done know of any way to do what your asking. LOL

I can't think of anyway to accomplish your task either. I was thinking something with cookies, but I'm not sure. Anyways, I'd lean more towards getting rid of it all together.

I tend to agree with Stephanie, I hate visiting sites with unwanted sound effects that dont really serve any purpose.
