Redesigning someone's site

I am redesigning someone's site. They used Joomla and it looks like they are using a template. I basically want to "skin the site, so I designed a site in Photoshop and just want to replace all the images. The menu, rollovers, etc.

Now here is my problem. I guess I want to do it using winscp, and just replace images but I can't seem to log in. My username and password work fine in Joomla, but I can't log in with winscp. I think I might have the wrong host name. How do you know what the host name is for a site? It is not www.nameofsite.com

How do I find that out?

Thanks!

To login to the ftp you need to have the ftp account information. I'm pretty sure joomla is a cms and cms' use sql databases to create logins for the cms it is assigned to. Therefore, the joomla login is just for joomla, not for the whole hosting account. You need to get ftp login information from the host to actually login to the ftp for the whole hosting account.
