Quicktime problems - can someone help?

Hi all

Can anyone advise please?

I've done a website for my band. There are links on the music page that
download or stream tracks. On my computer, the tracks stream in
Quicktime BUT they are riddled with small clicks and pops. The mp3s I
uploaded sound fine - it is only when streaming them I hear this.

The tracks download a lot quicker than they take to play - these are
NOT dropouts due to a slow connections.

A friend of mine who has Quicktime experiences this too. Another friend
of mine who also has Quicktime does NOT hear pops and clicks.

I tried uninstalling QT and the tracks just download then. When I play
them back through WMP, they sound fine.

Could anyone give me any pointers?

The fact that some people hear them fine and others don't leads me to guess that they are too large of files to stream properly with some connections, try reducing the quality so that they are smaller files, or run them through a flash player so that they will load in their entirty before they begin playing.
