Question About Uploading Files To Server

I have looked eveywhere for the answer to my problem, so please don't respond with something like "just google it". I'm just trying to find an answer to my problem, so if you'd like to help i would appreciate it.

I have two domains, shared hosting, with wordpress installed. I am trying to upload my php files. I've tried uploading them inside the public_html file (in both domains) but it still won't work.

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

What do you mean exactly by it not working? You may need to delete the default index.html file that your host has in your public_html folder.
Or do you mean the files are not there at all?

Maybe try a different ftp? Filezilla's a great choice...
It has 2 explorer panes, one for your local machine, one for the server.
Delete any files in your server's "public_html" folder, then drag & drop your local files. Also, double check the server to make sure the transfer was successful

Thanks for the replies. I finally figured out the problem. I was dropping my php files into the correct place all along. The problem was, when I checked my site, that I didn't include page1.php after the url.
