Have all of this work that he would like to see on a site, but none of it is digital. All of it is actual mailers, and catalog articles. Does anyone have any tried and true techniques that they like for super high quality scans or am I stuck shooting all of this stuff?

It depends on what information you're trying to obtain from your sources. Do you need to show the actual mailers/catalogs, or are you just trying to get the text and images onto your site in a nice format?

If it's the first, then you just have some down and dirty scanning to do. If you have problems with the results, do come back and show us the images and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

If you're turning your hardcopy data into copied text with cleaned up images, then the task is a bit more daunting.
