Pretty decent layout. My only critique is the choice of fonts. Make it uniform. Using many different fonts in the homepage isn't that appealing.

The body blends into the background too much. I would create more contrast between the them by changing either the color of the body or the color of the background.

Adding a border/stroke around the body might help as well?

There are a few issues with text spacing on the left side (drop cap and strong text area).

Ditch the underline text decoration on the main nav links, will make it look more professional.
