The design is nice.

I think the background should be a differnet color, and the banner at the top, should be included into the site design, instead of the background.

Also, the buttons would look very nice with some rollover/css hover styles.

Nice clean looking design, and look like it would be easy to navigate once you get more pages.

I think the header area is too large.
Some mouse rollover images with the text changing to a different color on the top navigation menu would look nice.
I agree about the background being a different color, preferably the background where the main text will appear.

I agree with what ian said, plus the font on the links doesn't work well for every link word. Designs is rather hard on the eyes in that font. Contact is as well although not quite as bad as the other one.

Also, the whole layout is a bit big. I have to scroll left to right at 1024 x 768 so you might want to scale it down a bit.
