Its not bad at all. I would make the dropdown menu a little more attractive.

Too much on screen. It's difficult when clients insist on features that you know will be detrimental to the design and the success of the website, then they'll get huffy when people aren't staying and using the website that they insisted on.

I would describe it as "shouty" and puts me off, but then I'm not a dance student so maybe I'm not the desired clientele.
