Please help advise my friend's website!

Hey guys,

So my friend and I are enrolled in an User Interface class, and for his final project, he's creating a website. Unfortunately for him, his website kinda... sucks. He's not the type of person to take critique from people that he knows, so I desperately need some kindhearted individuals to break the news to him and offer him some tips to improve the website.

I managed to convince him to create a mockup of how his website design with a surveymonkey link. The entire thing will only literally take a minute or two, and it will mean a lot more that you could imagine. Thank you guys so much for doing this!

I definitely would change the size of the image of the guy running. It shouldn't extend beyond the frame containing all the other content. Also, it wouldn't hurt for him to add some color and change the colors of the links to something besides default blue and purple.
