PHP Searchable Directory Program

Hello!

I just found this site. Where has it be all my life? :rainbow:

I'm looking to make an online directory in php/mysql, but my abilities in this realm are limited to say the least. I want my users to be able to search by region, state, county, and rating (maybe even name). I see that there are a number of free (or inexpensive) PHP scripts/programs premade already to streamline the process. Do any of you know of any others that I might try. Free would be better since this business is just starting up and we don't have a whole lot of money.

I want the user to put in their terms into a form and have the results come up in a directory. The user can then choose the result and be taken to a review page of that vendor with information.

Please advise.

sorry, but i have no experience in the directory realm and don't know of any pre-made solutions off hand, but i can point to a directory of free scripts where you might be able to find something suitable. try www.hotscripts.com
