hello all, I made another practice site, I think it might be a little too 'flashy' for a portfolio site, but I'm really just trying to experiment and learn. let me know what you think.

I like it, the background texture flows great with the content, I like it.

doesn't look bad to me. a lot of people seem to do minimalist designs for their portfolio but I think this looks more unique and has more personality.

Do you have a background color? I'm sure the content column won't go all the way across the screen on every screen. you should take into consideration different screen sizes. By looking at it, I can't tell what your plans are for this.

the background is the only thing i'm not positive about. I'm tempted to leave it white since I think white is the best compliment, but I cant' quite tell if it will look incomplete when viewed in a browser, if white doesn't work maybe a gray.

yea I think medium - light gray would look good with it. You can try different colors and patterns with the background pretty easily at least until you find one that looks right.

btw, I like how you have "say go" in yellow so it stands out of your name. very clever.

Way too much purple/pink for my taste but the overall layout and type usage works well.
