Newbie here, help please

Hi All,
Bastband here, starting a new endeavour, but not getting very far........

I have purchased a domain hosting and I am wordering what I need to get access to the webspace.
I have WS FTP Pro and tried to upload openPHPnuke, but do not know how to activate it. The install note says point browser to web address and file where install.php is and all I get is 'No input file specified'.
What am I doing wrong and is there something 'friendlier' I can use to manage files on my webspace.

Hi,

You are looking to a relative path. You must know in which folder the install.php file sits within the openPHPnuke folder structure, while knowing where you upload the root folder of openPHPnuke in your webspace, so that you can call it through a URL - which is the only way to EXECUTE install.php:

http://www.yoururl.com/openPHPnuke/XXXXX/install.php

You must replace the 'X,s' with the relative path within the root folder of openPHPnuke...
