Hi. Not crazy about your splash page. I like the internal pages with the film artwork.
I would try to incorporate those images into your splash page. If I came to your site accidently, I would probably leave as soon as I saw the words trailing my curser (a pet peeve).
The splash page doesn't relate at all to what's inside. Since your name is Ninja Movies, maybe create a Ninja character that appears on the splash page and takes you throughout the site.
If you know an artist/illustrator, maybe they could draw a comic Ninja character jumping out of a movie film canister . . . just a thought.

I agree, the homepage needs images of ninja's. Also a text logo would help people remember the name of the site.
