http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.scopewebtemplates.com%2F

what appication did you use to lay out the pages
looks like photoshop

oops bout forgot

the code lacks real text to let search engines know exactly what you are doing there

clean up the text that the app you used left behind
have a look at the coding for my site

Scope Web Templates

Thanks for the reviews!

I used Fireworks for the layout and put it together using dreamweaver. Can anyone suggest the best way to clean up the code? as my coding know how is a little limited.

Thanks

about your site

i would say to you the best thing to do is make your header with fire works the add all your text in dreamweaver .. i used to use fireworks for layout when it came out years ago but soon realised it was a bad direction to take

What i really say you should do is,. only use fireworks for graphics, use dreamweaver for everything else including positioning buttons, text, and the graphics you make in fireworks. You really should use a style sheat.

Then eventualy you wont need dreamweaver if you are paying attention to the code that is being made by dreamweaver, you will pick it up and eventualy be making your own code
also if you see something cool on someone elses site there is nothing wrong with looking throuhg there code to see what they are doing that is better than you , that is why the browser facility is there i think.

good luck

need any help just ask:)

while im here

i notice you have all your headings for the templates as graphical reps of the text

dont do this
use real text to head your items
this will let the search engines see what you have on your page better ... little spaterings of text should always have there own <h></h> tag
so you would have like
<h1> templates 1</h1>
<h2> templates 1</h2>

and so on
simple effective

have you looked here to see what you can fix

pretty handy tool to get you started on the way to a claened up site
