I didn't think the girl was a problem, however I don't like the blue with the brown. Like ian, I'm not a fan of the way the page is split but if it were a more equitable split it might be workable... the way it is right now, it's off center.

I don't really like the way the page is split either, but that is a creative way of changing things up. I like the grey on black...but to me this looks like an html page that wants to be a flash page. Something just doesn't seem right to me
