Need some help with ideas!!

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help me...

I am designing a personal website that will basically have lots of photos and maybe some videos of me and my friends. I am able to actually do the html side of things but am really struggling on the design front as that is my weakness...i can never come up with decent ideas to make the site look graphically good....

Can anyone give me any good ideas or sample sites that you they may have come across - i dont want an over the top flash type site (mainly cos i dont know flash) but any ideas will help me....

Just a little exercise if any of you are bored or have even built your own similar sites...

Since it's a personal site to be used for photo sharing and videos have you thought about maybe doing a blog or something along those lines? There are lots of free templates you can use and there are plugins for uploading images and videos. With the templates you can find one you like and not have to do any kind of editing as they are built for whatever script you decide to use.
