Making templates with adobe

Hey mate,

I have a question it may be a stupid question. However I make a template in photoshop i can save and open it in dreamweaver successfully. If for example in photoshop i go file>> new>>>Preset: web>>> 1024x768

ok so make the template save images and html to folder, open in adobe dreamweaver works fine.

The question is wat happens if you want your page taller eg more then 768
and you dont want your images to stretch,

Do you have to make your page you want the larger dimension to begin with in photoshop or is there some trick

My website has the
banner
bars/buttons
welcome image with text with a login box to right
New objects
Categories
then a footer with the site map

its too cramped if i jam it all in

should i just make the 1024x.....(say 1400) Eg?

Or is there something in dreamweaver i can do?

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

dont make websites in photoshop.
simple.
as what it creates is NOT a website but a set of images.
with some horrible html and css code.
