Has anyone seen a tutorial on how to do image transitions like they have on
http://www.zillow.com/ with a slight right to left movement at the end of the dissolve?

I found this page http://css3.bradshawenterprises.com/cfimg/ which has the code for doing the transition but without the slight movement of the image (see "Demo with multiple images").

I'm also looking for a tutorial on how to make elements on a page slowly dissolve away as you CLICK AWAY form the page, and also have the new page slowly fade in.

Just as an aside, seeing as you've used the word 'slowly' - I don't think people want special effects like this interrupting their browsing. People just want to very quickly get the info and move on so I'd focus more on the content and less on the wrapping paper.

..only if the rest is 100% otherwise it will annoy them.

also edge made a good point with it needing to be fast.
"slow" by internet transition standards is 0.5s, any slower than that and people assume that something is broken.

Only the ones who think a website needs fancy "tricks" to be 'engaging' to visitors.
