Looking for hosting suggestions

I have been finishing up my website and now have a php page ready to go but my cable company that allows free websites does not work with php files. So now im looking for something cheap, maybe lunar pages. The site is pretty much just for a portfolio etc so I do not want to pay too much. What do you think?

Try 000webhost, I find them to be both the cheapest and best, as they support everything.

Tell you who you shouldn't try - Fasthost - we regularly have to pick up the pieces from unwitting people who have had hosting with them.

Hostgator all the way, does everything you need. Go for the baby plan - http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml no need for the re-seller hosting package. You can have unlimited domains, MySQL etc.. I highly recommend them ;o)

I think you have some good options already but I have used Hostmonster for 6 years now and they are great. Never had any problems with them, and I have set up 3 other websites besides mine for clients through them.
