For those of you who do not work with programmers..
adding SOME bright colors is still much too vague for developers trying to learn design.. lol
@ctrlaltdesigns they all have the idea right, but in the spirit of teaching..
I do like the keyboard idea better.. since with initials "CAD" it makes me think of several things waaay before web design..
you definitely need to simplify things a lot. you can always make a 3d version of your logo for certain projects later. you want your original to be
1. VECTOR
2. SIMPLE enough to put through a fax machine and still be recognizable.. if anyone still has a fax machine?.. not the point

now.. i went and found an ugly keyboard stock photo so you can see more of what i'm talking about. Here's an idea for you if you want to keep the keyboard theme for your logo.
Look at these simple logos:

..and recreate/simplify the one i attached

ps.. looking at this again, the return arrow is somewhat distracting on top of all the shadows/ rushjob grunge. I think it's because it is aligned with the ctrl/alt labels so you read it "louder"
