Legal cheap/free dreamweaver?

I have no money to spend on Macromedia/Adobe Studio, but I am really dependant on them. Right now, I'm using the open-source programs NVU and GIMP, but they doesn't have all the features I need. Any suggestions?

thanks, but NVU drives me crazy. i get a bunch of error messages and its hard to set up a local site.

You can also use composer or i think its called komposer or something. Its also free and opensource, I read the post somewhere in the nvu website forum... it looks to be a spin-off of nvu, but more stable and less errors.

Also try arachnoid, its a free html editor and its a good one.

if you are a student, you can get the academic versions of the software packages you desire at a fraction of the cost.

marcomedia studio - 99 EUR
adobe creative studio - 249 EUR

that's off of the german amazon sites. they should be cheaper in the states though.
