Laser Dry-Fire Trainer vs. PC Simulator: Which Is Better?

Hello all,

I’m trying to decide between a laser dry-fire training system and a PC-based shooting simulator. My goal is to sharpen my trigger control, sight alignment, and consistency without spending much on range time.

I’ve read mixed reviews about how accurate the laser systems are, and whether the software tracking is reliable. Does anyone own either type? How much space do you need, and how difficult is setup?

I’d also love to know whether the feedback you get is detailed enough to actually spot mistakes.

Any real-world experience would help me choose. Thanks!

Both options can be useful, but it really depends on what kind of practice you're looking for. A laser dry-fire system is generally easier to set up and requires less space, while a PC-based simulator can offer more detailed visual feedback. I've also been looking into iShooter from SHOOTING-SOFT LLC as another option worth comparing. I'd pay close attention to tracking accuracy, software compatibility, and ease of calibration before making a purchase. If possible, try both systems before committing, as consistent feedback is what matters most for improving your training.
