Integrated development environment

OK, I am learning and agree with y'all that instant web page programs are poo-poo.

What about though an integrated web page design environment like what the VB Editor is to working VBA? A nice, quick reference and formatting environment instead of the basic or advanced text editors? Thoughts?

They tend to be bigger and slower and if all you're doing is writing html or css then they might be overkill. Once you get into server-side programming though IDE's can be a life-saver. Personally I use Aptana Studio 3 for all but the most basic stuff.

The best integrated development environment I used involves a fast computer with multiple monitors, headphones and a strong coffee at hand. :D

the only thing I'd change from leroys workflow is perhaps speakers over headphones. (if you have the opportunity, and/or it isn't annoying sleeping persons).

and no coffee is a non-event, I may as well go home if I have no coffee.
