Incorporating Blog into website. (rss?)

Hey,

I have a blog that's on wordpress. I also have an HTML standard website thats relatively unrelated. I'm working on updating my HTML website to be more dynamic. I'd like to be able to have a section on my homepage that displays the latest post from my blog. I tried having a frame that displayed the blog but it just looked bad. It added scroll bars and didn't blend with the rest of the website.

What I'd like to do is to add almost like an RSS feed that displays the content of my most recent blog post in a way that blends in with my HTML site.

I've seen this done with Twitter, and it seems to be a cool dynamic way to have your website very active.

Any ideas on where to start??

You might be able to use something like this http://www.rssfeedwidget.com/

Personally I would just build the site fresh in wordpress, but this could take a while if your existing site is very big. If it is big, then an alternative would be to style wordpress to look like your current site and have it linked to from a menu item in the current site.
