I'm a year out of college.. So I'm somewhat fresh to dealing with clients. Rarely do I ever need help from other people to give me ideas for site designs. Typically I pick the brain of the client and show designs and I get feedback.
This client I have right now is not giving me much to go on and I'm officially out of ideas. It's a "middle class" promotional/modeling agency and she told me she doesn't really know what she wants. (Typical, right?? I hate that!) Anyway, so.. her response to the designs was little to none besides "I want something 'glam' and black and gold." I designed one design that was feminine and another that was simple/clean design that was straight lines, black with bright pink accents. I'm drawing a blank here. I recently spent a ton of time looking at random websites for inspiration and NOTHING is hitting "glam". Stupid question: What the heck is glam in your eyes? Can anyone give me advice on a what a glamorous site is?
Good question.. How do you deal with a client who isn't giving you much to go on? Still.. I have no idea what glam is.. is that terrible? Ugh..
Anyway advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Liz
