my first impression is to many images... basically the whole page is made of images and it takes a long time to load.

besides that it is a nice looking site i like it!

You must embed your images within your html. You should never use text in your images... its kinda fundamental.

Your images must be chosen in proper format for optimal speed, size, quality, etc...

I agree about the pictures, the first of which was nearly 300kb(!), slash the filesize!
And maybe make it more clear were the link to the main page is, I was hovering the
mouse around for ages and barely found it.

If you are going to use images like this you need to make the resolution a bit better looking. The pictures seem like they have a bright light around them in a dark background. Just doesn't look right. The page loads fine overall for me though.
