How do I move a psd(adobe photoshop) on my desktop?

I made an icon with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and I saved it as a PSD on accident. I'm trying to delete it, but it keeps saying the file is open in another program. This happened with a folder, but I closed everything on my desktop and that cleared things up. Any help? Thanks in advance.

I think you forgot the file opened in Photoshop. If you did, try to close Photoshop first.

A simple fix is to simply restart your computer, and then move it.

just reset your computer and then when you boot up, delete it
