How do i create this type of menu?

Hi Everyone,

I would like to design something similar to what is above the flash file on this site: http://www.coconutgroveportdouglas.com.au/

Is that a flash menu? Also, how did they make the stuff above the menu, it doesnt look like an image?

That can be done with CSS and images. I used this site once or twice to build menus like this when I was still learning how too, http://izzymenu.com/ There are several other css menu maker websites and even tutorials online.. I hope this helps!

Simple java scripting and style sheets can solve your problem.

javascript seems overkill for what css can do alone... specially for a simple highlighting menu.. You can even get drop down menus with transparency with css

Rapid Weaver will do this and it's easy. It's CSS isn't it? With a flash slideshow beneath.

No javascript is needed, it can all be done through css. I would put all the links in a list and adjust the link backgrounds for the static and hover states. I can show you how if your interested.
