Help with Platform compatibility

I designed a site with Dreamweaver in Windows, and everything turned out great. I went to view it on my iMac and all the tables were off center. The nav bar was covering the logo. I have taken all the pages down except the home page. http://lasmargaritasmidtown.com It views fine in Windows, but if you view it on a Mac it looks off center and unattractive.
If anyone has any tips on this Platform compatibility issue I would greatly appreciate it.

Trial & Error:
Microshaft ignores the W3C's standards and therefore, as a designer, you will learn to loathe their browser.
Try making changes to positioning attributes first (relative or absolute), z-index, etc. until it works

Thanks for the advice. I actually found a progrma called Artisteer. I used that to create a good looking template. I then imported it over to joomla, and wha la! Everything works perfect now. I think I am going to use those two programs together from now on.
