I've never done a trade show before and I'm wondering if anyone has any success doing them. I don't want it to be a waste of money so if any one has any tips I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

From what I have heard the real benefit from attending trade shows is not the show itself, but the contacts that you make.
We're looking to attend as exhibitors but we're wondering if it's going to be worth the money. We've attended them before but we're not sure if we want to take that next step. Any suggestions?
Trade show is an effective marketing strategy esp. for product advertising and building contacts. But there are other more cost-effective ways to advertise a product like search engine marketing, PPC, etc.
