Graphics in Dreamweaver

I'm having trouble getting my graphics to look right in dreamweaver. I am trying to place an image in a colored table cell. The image is a logo created in illustrator and does not have a background color. I have tried saving it as gif and jpg and changed around all of the settings to get it to act right but no luck so far. It keeps displaying with white dots on the edges. Any help would be great!

I don't know about illustrator really, but in Fireworks, you could change transparency to Alpha transparency. You probably have Fireworks if you have Dreamweaver, if not, sorry. Try putting a border the color of the cell on the actual image if all else fails.

p.s...182 is a great number :)

When saving with Illustrator you have to choose to save for the web option in the file menu and fix your settings in the dialog box that pops up. There should be a drop down menu that allows you to choose transparency.

Hope that helps.
